Renal Transplant and Urology services, at ILBS, started in June 2012. ILBS is now approved by DGHS, Govt of India to perform Renal Transplant (Letter No S.12015/06/2012-MG dated 17/7/2012). The Department of Renal Transplant at ILBS offers comprehensive consultation, diagnostic evaluation and clinical management for a full spectrum of genito-urinary disorders. The cutting edge technology is used to provide state-of-the-art care in both the outpatient and hospital settings, including renal transplant. The services are available to all patients without or with liver disease. We provide clinical evaluation, diagnosis and treatment to patients with common renal and urological problems such as:
- End Stage Renal Disease
- Urinary Stone diseases
- Lower urinary tract dysfunction in males (Prostatic diseases) and Diseases of male external genitalia
- Male infertility and erectile dysfunction
- Female lower urinary tract dysfunction (Uro-gynecology)
- Congenital Urological disorders (Pediatric Urology)
- Uro-oncology (very well supported by medical and radiation Oncology divisions)

- Renal Transplant, vascular access for hemodialysis, CAPD catheter/Permcath insertion
- Basic and advanced Endo-urology (PCNL, URS, OIU, TURP)
- Laser Endo-urology (RIRS, HoLEP)
- Laparoscopic Urology (ablative, reconstructive and oncological procedures)

- Neuro-video-urodynamics
- Extra-corporeal Shock Wave Lithotripsy (ESWL) by Dornier Compact Delta machine
The Department of Renal Transplant and Urology is supported by state-of-the-art dialysis unit and Nephrology services. The operating suites and intensive care units (Transplant ICU and Surgical ICU) are ultra modern and equipped with the latest gadgetry.
