The procedure followed in the decision making process, including channels of supervision and accountability:

Decisions in various matters are taken by the appropriate authorities of the Institute as per the procedures laid down under various policies, manuals, by-laws and the decisions taken by Governing Council and various committees of the Institute.

The administration of the Institute consists of various Departments which are normally headed by a Department Head who performs the duty of a supervisor and manages the affairs of the respective department. 

The departments under the central administration report to the Director. The day to day operations activities are looked after by the Director, ILBS through respective departmental heads.
