Letter of Intent between Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences – ILBS and The Institute National pour la Sante’ et la RecherecheMedicale – INSERM

This institutional partnership will result in creation of the International Associated Laboratory (IAL) entitled “ILBS Associated Laboratory of Transcriptomics and Metabolomics for the development of Indo-French Research on Severe Liver Diseases

Memorandum of Understanding between Central Council for Research in Ayurveda and Siddha, Department of AYUSH, Ministry of Health, Government of India and Institute of Liver & Biliary Sciences, New Delhi

MOU has been entered into undertake Collaborative Research and Clinical Studies for establishing evidence to widen its treatment/research perspectives with AYUSH system of medicine in the field of “Hepatology”.

Memorandum of Understanding Between Institute of Liver & Biliary Sciences, New Delhi and The Yonsei Institute of Gastroenterology, Seoul, Korea

To promote public health education and medicine and develop academic and educational collaboration and work towards common goals. Developing co-operation with various activities on the bases of equality. The activities would include exchange of faculty, Administrative staff members, Scientists, clinicians, Researchers to promote implementation and execution of joint and collaborative scientific, clinical and research projects.

Collaboration Agreement Among Institute of Liver & Biliary Sciences, India and Montefiore Medical Center, Albert Einstein College of Medicine, USA

The collaboration will promote basic and translational research, clinical trials and innovative clinical care pathways for patients with hepato-biliary and pancreatic malignancies. This would also result in development of Centers of Excellence in liver transplantation and cancer care centers as also Centers of Medical Countermeasures Against Radiation (as developed in the USA).

Memorandum of Understanding on the co-operation between Institute of Liver & Biliary Sciences and The Hadassah – Hebrew University Medical Centre, Jerusalam, Israel

The Agreement intends to collaborate closely in the area of Heaptology, biotechnology and fundamental sciences with a special emphasis on immunology, new drug and vaccine development. Towards these ends, a small unit of excellence in clinical and basic research, biotechnology and physiology in the field of hepatobiliarydiseaseas would be set up at ILBS.

Memorandum of Understanding between Institute of Liver & Biliary Sciences, New Delhi and Laboratory of Immuno-regulation, National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, National Institute of Health, Bethesda, MD, USA.

MOU will result in development of “Core Indo-US Liver Immunology Laboratory”. This lab would focus on
  • phenotypic and functional changes of restored HBV-specific T Cells during treatment,
  • HBV –specific T Cell responses immediately after delivery when there is reduced virus replication
  • early B cell responses in the HBV infected and non-infected newborns from HBV positive mothers, and
  • expression levels of protein in urine or serum, whole blood. Novel strategies of basic research are also included

Memorandum of Understanding Between Institute of Liver & Biliary Sciences, New Delhi and The Yonsei Institute of Gastroenterology, Yonsei University College of Medicine, Seoul, Korea

The present MOU intends to collaborate closely in the area of Hepatology, with the special emphasis on Hepatology Cancers, with a special emphasis on Hepatobiliary Cancers. This MOU serves the purpose of developing and intensifying mutual and reciprocal co-operation between ILBS and YIG. Towards these ends, the parties shall promote the implementation and execution of joint and collaborative scientific, clinical and research projects, exchange the scientists, clinicians and researchers and facilitate mutual sharing of Techno-Scientific knowledge and know-how.

Agreement for Academic Co-operation Between Yamaguchi University School of Medicine and Institute of Liver & Biliary Sciences

The purpose of this Agreement is to develop academic and educational collaboration and to promote friendly relations between the two institutions. Both universities would undertake to promote and develop co-operation in the following ways, on the basis of equality and reciprocity:

  • Exchange of research staff
  • Exchange of undergraduate and post-graduate students.
  • Exchange of academic information and publications.
  • Conducting of colloquia, lectures and seminars
  • Co-operation in research and the presentation of its results

MOU has been created with the intent to collaborate in the area of Hepatology, gastroenterology and related areas as mutually agreed upon from time to time.
