Greetings from Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences and the Conference Secretariat, Wilson India 2026. It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to Wilson India 2026, being held as an APASL Single Topic Conference (STC) dedicated to Wilson Disease with experts from around the globe. The conference is also endorsed by the Indian Society of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition (ISPGHAN). The conference is scheduled for January 30–31, 2026, and will be held at the Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences, New Delhi, India. This important meeting will bring together leading national and international faculty, researchers, clinicians, and patient advocates, united by the goal of advancing care and research in this complex disorder. The scientific program has been carefully curated to provide a comprehensive overview of Wilson Disease. Sessions will span from basic sciences and copper biology to the latest in diagnosis and novel therapeutic modalities. It will cover the full spectrum of disease manifestations including hepatic, neurological, renal, hematologic, and psychiatric. The conference will also highlight newer therapeutic frontiers, including liver transplantation, novel chelators, and gene therapy, which are shaping the future of treatment. In addition, a dedicated patient advocacy session will ensure that the perspectives of patients and families remain central to our discussions. With the participation of distinguished international experts alongside leading Indian faculty, Wilson India 2026 promises to be an enriching platform for academic exchange, clinical insights, and collaborative progress. We warmly invite you to join us in 2026 for this unique opportunity to learn, share, and work together towards improving outcomes for patients with Wilson Disease. We kindly request you to block your dates and register at the earliest. Prof Seema Alam |
