Dr. (Brig.) Debajyoti Bhattacharyya joined the department as a Professor. He is also a Postgraduate examiner and Inspector for both Medical Council of India MCI), and National Board of Examinations (NBE). He is the nodal officer for COVID-19 committee and has been instrumental in formulating policies for COVID-19 control, healthcare workers training and safety.
