Dr. Manoj Kumar Sharma serves as the Associate Dean (International Affairs) and Professor & Head (Hepatology) at the Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences (ILBS).

He is actively involved in several key initiatives involving international collaboration and training:

  • Co-Director at World Gastroenterology Organisation, New Delhi Training Center: Inaugurated onApril 26, 2015, this center is dedicated to training the next generation of hepatologists. It offers continuous education and hands-on training in various aspects of hepatology, aiming to develop academic physicians who will excel and become leaders in the field. More about the center.   • Asian Pacific Association for the Study of the Liver (APASL) - School of Hepatology: This school provides ongoing education and practical training in hepatology. Through a combination of lectures, clinical case discussions, and hands-on training, the program aims to induct and train the new generation of hepatologists.
