Accordingly, a mediclaim Insurance Policy for all the employees including their dependent family members has been approved by the Govt. of Delhi. Important ingredients of the approved Policy are as under:-

  • i) Indemnity Insurance Policy for Doctors/Nurses/paramedical staff will be done by the Institute through valid tendering process and will be funded from the capped expenditure of one month’s Basic Pay+DA of the said employees as on 1st July every year of an employee per annum. It is mandatory for all the medical staff to obtain Indemnity Insurance policy of the Institute.
  • Group Health Insurance for IPD treatment in respect of all employees and their dependents should be done through a valid tendering process and it is mandatory for all the staff of the Institute to get covered under the Group Health Insurance of the Institute.
  • Amount balance after deduction of premiums for Indemnity Insurance policy and group health Insurance premium shall be credited to each employee on monthly basis with a capping as given at para (i) above.
