Experience

Dr Kanica Kaushal, Assistant Professor of Epidemiology actively worked with various states in India this year to implement the integration of NAFLD guidelines into National Programme for prevention and control of NCDs(NP NCD)including Jharkhand and Meghalaya. She represented ILBS at various international forums including AASLD, EASL and APASL annual conferences this year and won three different international travel support awards from ICMR, DST and Liver Care Foundation. Her research interest lies in use of digital health to make liver health screening more accessible and affordable for general public. She is the course director of the national workshop on 'Grant writing and implementation of research grants' being held annually at ILBS.
