Dr Dinesh Rawat has trained as a paediatrician and subsequently worked in U.K. where he completed his Certificate for completion of specialist training (CCT) in Pediatric gastroenterology & hepatology. He has experience in pre and post-transplant management of children with liver diseases. While working at Birmingham Children's hospital, he managed diagnostic as well as therapeutic aspects of care in children with neonatal cholestasis, portal hypertension, chronic liver disease & intestinal failure associated liver diseases. He has keen interest in research especially in transplant immunology and autoimmune hepatitis. Having joined ILBS in April 2012, he has been a very enthusiastic and useful team member in the department.
