Activity Conducted : Cleanest Department competition, Waste to wonder display
Details
1. As a part of Swachhata Drive, a competition on cleanest department of the hospital and waste to wonder was organised on 07.08.2025.
2. For the cleanest department competition, the departments were divided into four categories which are as under:-
a. Cleanest ICU / Critical Area
b. Cleanest Ward
c. Cleanest Diagnostic Area
d. Cleanest Non Clinical Area
The checklist containing various aspects of cleanliness was developed and the teams for judging in the four categories were assigned. The entire hospital was audited in this competition and the staff enthusiastically participated in this.
3. For the Waste to wonder display, the staff showcased their talent to another level. The final products that came for display for the waste to wonder were a treat to the eyes. Every department participated enthusiastically and utilised absolute waste to create something meaningful. The criteria for judging these waste to wonder was as under:
a. Contribute towards aesthetics of the area
b. Utility of the Waste product
c. Sustainability of the art work
d. Economization of space
The Engineering department reused the packing material of the biomedical equipment which the department has used for making planters, dustbins, chairs, cardiac trolley etc.
