Details
1. As a part of the ongoing swachhata drive, Pharmacy cleanliness and Expiry check of medicines was done on 21.08.2025 as per planner.
2. The IPD and OPD pharmacy were thoroughly cleaned and the Chief Pharmacist ensured that every area must be cleaned should be visibly dirt free along with disinfection.
3. The medicines are though checked on daily basis before dispensing and the medicine inventory is managed through HIS and thus a daily expiry check of the medicines is done. However, to ensure the task conducted for the day, the list of medicines from the HIS is checked and matched with the expiry date of the physical stock. This exercise was done randomly for the drugs considering a suitable sample size as per the load of the Pharmacy.
